We are looking for an Exotic CareVeterinarian to join the team!
Our hospital offers high-quality medicine, surgery, and service to the community. Our team treats dogs, cats, and exotic species, such as small mammals, reptiles, and birds. We care and are supported by a skilled, intelligent, and hard-working team! Our doctors are supported by individual Veterinarian Assistants,
Our diagnostic equipment includes a comprehensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Several of our veterinarians are trained to use endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery equipment, routinely performing lap spays, gastronomes, and liver biopsies. We would support any candidates interested in becoming proficient with endoscopy or laparoscopy. We would also support any candidates that have an interest in expanding their exotic skillset as we are a hospital who treats and exotics. We are paperless and use Improved for our electronic medical records.
Requirements
- All experience levels considered
- Licensed Alaska Veterinarian (active and clear)
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate with team members
- Ability to work a rotational weekend schedule
