Overview
Windsor Animal Hospital located in Santa Rosa, CA is looking for a Medical Director who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.
Windsor Animal Hospital was first opened in the late 1980’s as a small private practice. In 2007, we moved into a brand new, custom-built location. Our hospital has continued to grow in the years since, adding a grooming department, a hydrotherapy tank, laparoscopic surgical equipment and much more. We are a unique hospital to our area, open 7 days a week from 8am-6pm, seeing a variety of cases each day. In 2020, we joined the VCA family of hospitals, added brand new equipment (ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray to name a few), as well as converting to a brand new practice management software with electronic medical records. We look forward to continued growth with the addition of doctors and staff.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to continue practicing medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like a practice owner. Plus, you’ll have the solid backing of experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more, to help you succeed.
Windsor Animal Hospital is located in the heart of Sonoma County, where we are known for our wines and craft beers, as well as our towering Redwoods. Our hospital straddles the line between the City of Santa Rosa, a sprawling suburban area, as well as the smaller, picturesque Town of Windsor. From either location, you can easily drive to San Francisco (~ 1 hour away), the coast (~30 mins away), Lake Tahoe/Reno (~4-5 hours away), Southern Oregon (~5 hours away), or even Southern California (~8-9 hours away.)
