About the Team:
- Our facility is equipped with advanced medical equipment to support excellent medicine, including CT, MRI, linear accelerator, ultrasound, endoscopy, pulmonic ventilator, dedicated full pharmacy, in-house blood bank, and more.
- A passionate team of experienced veterinary professionals practising high-quality emergency medicine and critical care for over 25 years in San Antonio.
- We are dedicated to merging emergency and speciality medicine while fostering a culture of collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat animals with various oncological conditions, including cancerous tumours and related disorders.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and imaging techniques to assess and stage cancer in patients.
- Develop and implement comprehensive and individualized treatment plans, incorporating medical, surgical, and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, and other speciality teams for integrated patient care.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to veterinary staff, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Educate pet owners on the nature of their pets’ conditions, treatment options, and post-treatment care.

Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
- Board Certified Specialist or Residency Trained Veterinarian.
