located in the foothills of Sierra Nevada in Exeter, CA, is seeking an Associate Equine Veterinarian with a desire to join a progressive practice, committed to excellence in both veterinary medicine and client care. Pacific Crest Equine is a progressive veterinary practice serving California’s Central San Joaquin Valley. Since our inception in 1998 we have dedicated ourselves to providing outstanding compassionate care for our equine patients while providing education and service to our clients and community.
Our team includes specialists in sport horse medicine and lameness, as well as dedicated support staff. Our clients represent a wide variety of disciplines that range from high level dressage and western performance to pleasure, trail, and beloved pets.
Pacific Crest Equine offers both quality ambulatory services, and advanced diagnostic, medical, and surgical capabilities at our state of the art facility. Our hospital consist of a surgical suite, two exam and treatment rooms, 4 stall indoor intensive care unit, 13 stall barn, individual stallion stalls and collection facilities, as well as lameness evaluation area and round pen. On-site diagnostic and treatment capabilities include digital radiography, ultrasound, gastroscopy, lameness locator, full in-house laboratory, and regenerative medicine. We have three fully equipped mobile units to facilitate our ambulatory care, which accounts for approximately 50% of our cases.
The clinic work environment is one of teamwork, collaboration, growth, and education, with the support of an in-site intern and dedicated staff. The clinic is conveniently located near multiple lakes and skiing venues, 45 minutes from Sequoia National Park, and 3 hours from the coast, which allows for exceptional outdoor recreational opportunities.
