In this role you will help develop and maintain a high quality; efficient and effective medical team, by fostering an environment of trust, teamwork and accountability by working in tandem with the Hospital Manager and reporting directly to the Regional Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide exceptional medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of pets
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions
- Offer preventative care and client education to promote pet wellness
- Collaborate with a compassionate team of veterinary professionals and support staff
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records

What You Bring:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state veterinary license (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for helping animals and building relationships with clients
- DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
- Five plus years of experience in a veterinary practice.
- Experience overseeing Veterinary Technicians and Assistants as well as other hospital or practice staff.
- Must demonstrate a desire to continue learning in veterinary care and participate in leading staff training.
