Each support team member is on a rigorous staff development plan, including the Purdue Veterinary Technician Licensure program for all our veterinary assistants. The team values a high standard of patient care and each team member is Fear Free certified to provide the best patient experience.

Experience Richmond: Located just two hours from both the beach and the mountains, Richmond is a small city with a big city feel – minus the traffic. With two large amusement parks within 1 hours’ driving distance, this quaint and affordable town offers breweries and dining, along with a thriving arts district. Richmond has an active music scene with festivals downtown and on the islands surrounded by the James River from the spring through the fall. For athletes and nature lovers, Richmond is home to the James River Park System, a 550-acre retreat which boasts the only downtown Class IV rapids in the country. The newly finished capital trail extends from downtown Richmond to Williamsburg and paves the way to 52 miles of biking, hiking, and nature watching. Richmond is rich with historic landmarks with Hollywood Cemetery (the final resting place of 2 US Presidents), the Rumors of War installation at the VMFA, the flood walls and many more! Fun fact, Edgar Allen Poe hailed from Richmond, VA.
